John began his career in 1996 as a case manager with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where he worked with National Accounts and handled workers compensation, premises liability, wrongful death, and trucking claims. John entered the real estate arena in 2012 after serving as the Director of Risk Management for 15 years at a private equity owned restaurant chain with responsibility for over 200 locations in 23 states. During his tenure in this role, John was responsible for all Management Liability, Property, and Casualty Insurance purchasing, claims management, and loss control programs. Since partnering up with Matt Wright, John has personally invested in over 10 properties and has helped grow the property management firm from 11 properties in 2013 to almost 80 in 2019. Company revenue has grown by 250% in 7 years.
Chris Sonnier and his wife relocated to Nashville in the summer of 2018 after falling in love with Middle Tennessee. Prior to relocating to Nasvhille, Chris who is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, spent nineteen years as an attorney in a multi-disciplinary private practice representing individuals and businesses. Chris also advised and represented several executive boards and organizations and helped guide their operations and strategic goals. Chris who is licensed to practice law in Tennessee is also a licensed property, casualty, health and life insurance broker.
Matthew received his undergraduate degree in Language and World Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2000. After seven years of working in finance on Wall Street, he moved back to Tennessee to pursue advanced studies in the life sciences field and it was during this time he met John Gluth and started investing in real estate. He finished a Molecular Biosciences Ph.D. program in August 2016 but continued to focus on growing GIuth Wright Property Management during his studies. Since finishing his degree, Matthew has now moved to work full time and develops investment models and rental projections for our current and prospective owners and investors.
Carolyn has been a resident of Nashville for almost twenty years. During that time, she has seen Nashville drastically evolve from a small city to “The Music City of the South” and she has been a part of it every step of the way. Carolyn began her real estate career a decade ago and in 2015 established Carolyn Akins Real Estate. This venture was forged out of her love of real estate and the joy of helping her clients with all aspects of their real estate needs. Her experience and knowledge of Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin’s various landscapes allow her to provide her clients with a solid foundation to relate to their every need.
